Golf antiques road show

9.00am 29th July 2004 - People

Sports memorabilia collectors throughout the country have an opportunity to meet experts from Sotheby’s and dedicated sports memorabilia insurers Collect & Protect, at a series of valuation road shows in August and September.
The first show is taking place at The Belfry Golf Centre, Warwickshire on 15th August 2004 between 10am and 4pm in the Sutton Suite
Anyone who has an item or collection of golf and other sporting memorabilia is invited to come along and have free conservation advice, appraisals and valuations given by Sotheby’s experts that include Graham Budd and David Neech.
With insurance being a minefield to many collectors, Collect & Protect, the UK’s specialist sports memorabilia insurers, will be on hand to give advice and consultation on all fields of insurance, collation and protection for valuable items of memorabilia.
So if in doubt about the value of your Anderson Anstruther Lofting Iron, Cardinal Niblick, or Open Championship Programme and how to insure them, go along to the Collect & Protect road show on Sunday 15th August at The Belfry and get the definitive answers and peace of mind.
Other shows are planned at Manchester and Twickenham in September. Contact Hilary Baker on 01299 877159 or Roy Smiljanic 07770 600240 for more details.
