Headland Enhances Technical Sales Support

Headland Amenity, leading supplier of innovative turf nutrition, health and management products, have strengthened their technical support in the Midlands. Andy Lane has joined the company as Technical Sales Manager to support the company’s distributors and end users.  His responsibilities will include continuing Headland’s customer-focussed, practical approach to help turf managers achieve the highest quality surfaces possible.

Andy has been in the groundcare sector for a long time, spending a total of 18 years in the greenkeeping industry before becoming a Regional Sales Manager with a key Headland distributor.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience along with a BASIS and FACTS qualification.

“When I saw the job advertised within my current trading area it was obvious for me to apply,” said Andy, “and luckily Headland accepted me for the role. I especially enjoy working with customers to create nutritional programmes – there is nothing more satisfying than seeing positive results from something you have been a part of; knowing you have helped them to achieve the best outcome possible.”

In his spare time, Andy enjoys playing golf although he admits that he’s not as good as he used to be! He and his wife also have two horses which take up the majority of their weekend time. When he has the chance Andy loves to travel abroad but equally enjoys quiet nights in with his family, a film, a takeaway and something bubbly.
