Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators, has announced that golf industry veteran Brett Stark has been named Senior Director, Marketing and eCommerce.

Stark, a graduate of Northern Illinois University, comes to Marriott Golf from Chicago-based EZ Links Golf, Inc., a PGA TOUR affiliated company and a pioneer in golf course technology and services, where he served as Senior Manager, Client Services, working with many of the golf industry’s leading golf management companies and golf travel organizations. During his stint at EZ Links, which started in 2007, Stark was highly regarded for his tee sheet management expertise, utilization excellence and program development, among other specialty areas. In his new marketing leadership position at Marriott Golf, Stark will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs designed to drive incremental rounds of golf and rooms/golf packages at the Company’s managed resorts, as well as management fees, consulting fees and technical services fees. Further, Stark will work closely with all Marriott Golf-managed properties to optimize the system-wide implementation and success of programs across the entire organization.

Additionally, Stark will lead eCommerce, digital and social media programming for Marriott Golf, while directing all marketing and revenue management programs for the two Marriott Golf Academy locations, Orlando, Fla. and Palm Desert, Calif.

“We are very pleased to have Brett join our management team at Marriott Golf and lead all areas of marketing and eCommerce for our portfolio of properties, as well as for Marriott Golf Academy,” said Claye Atcheson, Vice President, Marriott Golf. “Backed by his tenure at EZ Links, Brett brings extensive technology prowess, golf industry knowledge and general marketing expertise to our team, and we expect he will be a great asset in continuing to enhance our business for years to come.”
