New Appointments at Hanbury Manor

Hertfordshire-based Marriot Hotel and Country Club Hanbury Manor has announced two new appointments within its golf sales and operations team.

The first of the two appointments is Adam Tross who has been taken on as a Golf Sales Executive, and will primarily be responsible for proactively driving golf event sales and memberships.

Tross, former Head Professional at Clovelly Golf Club in Canada and Assistant Professional at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club, brings an invaluable wealth of club golf knowledge and expertise with him and will involve developing a comprehensive sales strategy, as well as advertising and marketing both group and individual golf at Hanbury Manor.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of driving golf sales forward for such a prestigious venue. I hope that my experience will provide a new dynamic to the existing sales strategy and I’m excited to implement some of the ideas I think will maximise what we already have to offer here at Hanbury Manor,” commented Tross.

The second new appointment is Sean Mitchell who has been promoted from Assistant Professional to Golf Events Coordinator, and will be tasked with meeting clients to arrange and manage events at Hanbury Manor

As a fully qualified PGA Professional, Mitchell’s remit will focus on ensuring excellent service to all group bookings is maintained in order to deliver a quality golfing experience, providing a dedicated coordinator to act as the first point of contact on behalf of Hanbury Manor.

“Flawless customer service is an essential component to any successful golf venue, and I hope to be able to both raise and maintain the standard of service that groups visiting Hanbury Manor receive,” commented Mitchell.

With 2015 signifying Hanbury Manor’s 25th anniversary, the appointments of both Tross and Mitchell signal the club’s innovative focus on implementing a reactive approach to driving new business, with the recent personnel additions part of a restructuring that will see increased levels of service provided to members and visitors alike.
