New Marketing Manager for Kubota UK

Kubota UK, the market leading machinery supplier, has announced the appointment of Karen Tipping as its new marketing manager.
In her role, Karen will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategies that will deliver continued and long term growth for all of Kubota’s key product sectors – Construction Equipment, Engines and Tractor and Groundcare.
Karen commented: “Kubota is a world renowned brand that has earned a fantastic reputation in its core markets for providing its dealer and end-user customers with the most reliable and high performance solutions, backed up by a first class aftersales support.
“As the company’s new marketing manager, my role is to work in partnership with Dave Roberts and the senior management team to define and implement the right strategic plans to build on this successful platform and enhance this further.
“My key aims are to help Kubota build on the market leading position it has developed in the compact tractor, groundcare and mini-excavator sectors, whilst also supporting its move into the mainstream agricultural market. In addition, there’s also a fantastic opportunity to increase awareness and drive growth for Kubota’s world class oil and water cooled diesel and duel fuel engines with OEM and dealer customers.”
Karen has over 20 years marketing experience, with an impressive track record across B2B, consumer and channel marketing sectors. Prior to joining Kubota UK, she held a number of senior marketing roles in the FMGC, IT, construction and mobile communications industries working for brands including global technology company NEC, Seiko Watches UK, TTL Chiltern Group and alwaysON Group.
