Tim Yeo and Sam Torrance join NGCAA

The National Golf Clubs‘ Advisory Association has appointed two high profile Vice Presidents in Sam Torrance OBE and Tim Yeo MP.
Torrance is a former Ryder Cup captain and Yeo is a conservative MP who has held the position of sports minister as well as being a prolific writer on the subject of golf.
Michael Shaw, National Secretary, of the NGCAA said, “We are excited and delighted that Sam and Tim have accepted our invitation to become Vice Presidents of the Association. The appointments follow a long tradition at the NGCAA in appointing distinguished players, professionals and amateur golfers. Their invaluable experience will be of great service to the NGCAA.”
Other vice presidents of the NGCAA have included Sir Michael Bonallack OBE (currently in post) and the late Lord William Whitelaw MC MP and the late Sir Henry Cotton MBE.
