Troon®, the leader in golf course management, development, and marketing, has announced that Bruce Glasco, president of the Troon International Division, will also serve as managing director of their new Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office.
Glasco, an industry veteran of 25-plus years and longtime leader of Troon’s International Division, welcomes the opportunity to open another office for the industry giant, having successfully opened offices around the world in such far-away locations as Australia, Dubai and Switzerland.
“I am delighted to be a part of our continued growth as we look to enhance our client services through new office locations and unmatched service standards,” said Glasco. “Troon’s well-deserved reputation as an industry leader has come through being proactive in the way we service our members and guests. Thus today’s announcement is further evidence of our unmatched commitment to be a leading hospitality company not only in golf but in the greater leisure and hospitality sector.”
Glasco joined Troon in 1999 as vice president of operations and was promoted to senior vice president of the company’s Australia Pacific Division in 2001. He was appointed senior vice president and managing director of the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations in 2006 and in 2012, Glasco was named chief operating officer of Troon’s International Division.

Glasco also possesses a development background having served in a project management capacity for Hines, one of the world’s most recognized international developers.
“We’re excited to have Bruce lead our expanding international division and manage our new Palm Beach Gardens office,” said Dana Garmany, chairman and CEO, Troon. “His work developing our international brand over the last 17-plus years is remarkable and is a big reason why Troon continues to grow globally.”
