To follow a successful year, in which sales of UK courses through Ben Allen at Humberts Leisure have totalled some £22 million, the firm has been engaged to market a selection of six French golf hotels with prices ranging from £1 million to £10 million. The marketing campaign to back these golf hotel opportunities starts this week.
This follows Humberts Leisure’s success last summer when it sold the 49 bedroom Grenoble Charmeil golf hotel at Saint-Sur Isere, 20 kilometres north west of Grenoble. This 18 hole 6,114 metre par 73 course, driving range and academy course with conferencing, bar and restaurant facilities and outdoor pool was sold to an offshore investor. The guide price was £1.5m sterling.
