Strutt & Parker acting on behalf of the owner, Mr John Rogers, have sold Horton Park Golf & Country Club in Epsom Surrey to Property Golf & Finance Group Ltd.
The golf complex has been extended from the original short 18 hole course, built in 1988, to a challenging 6293 yard 18 hole course, 9 hole academy course and 26 bay floodlit driving range.
Charles Greville-Heygate, who handled the sale, said “This property is one of the best located properties that we have handled for a long time. It has always been a very successful club and the new development will ensure further growth of the business. I am delighted that we have been able to achieve this sale to the satisfaction of both parties. Not surprisingly the sale was keenly contested and we are now looking for properties for the underbidders”.
