Surrey golf course for sale with health club

FPDSavills this morning issued preliminary particulars of Fernfell Golf & Country Club which they are selling as sole agents. The guide price is in the region of £2.2 million – £2.5 million.

Fernfell Golf & Country Club is one mile from Cranleigh and 9 miles from Guildford. There is an 18-hole, par 68 golf course together with a driving range and practice area. The traditional Sussex Barn clubhouse includes function facilities and there is an active Health & Fitness Club which includes an indoor swimming pool. The projected turnover for the business in 1999/2000 is around £790,000.

The property covers approximately 130 acres (52 hectares) and is for sale freehold as a going concern. Additional land amounting to approximately 118 acres (48 hectares) is available by negotiation.
