Tapton Park Golf Course is a renowned municipal golf course founded in 1934. The property comprises an 18 hole 6,104 yard (par 72) parkland golf course; 9 hole 2,613 yard (par 34) course; 9 hole par 3 course; practice ground (with potential for a floodlit golf riving range); large clubhouse; lodge and greenkeepers’ compound, located on the outskirts of Chesterfield (population 99,000). The business is operated as a municipal pay and play facility and offers great potential for commercialisation.
Tapton Park Golf Course has been let to Sheffield International Ventures, a Trust operating a range of leisure facilities in Sheffield, including the Don Valley Stadium, Beauchief Golf Course, Birley Wood Golf Course and Tinsley Golf Course.
