Due to a planned £200 million pound refurbishment, Wilsons Auctions has been selected to sell, by unreserved public auction, the fixtures and fittings of the luxurious 5 star Trump Turnberry Resort, based in Scotland on 1st October, 4pm.

Purchased by Donald Trump last year, this five star resort underwent its last multi million pound renovation programme just before the 2009 Open.

Trump Turnberry Ad 170x265 copyTalking at the Ayrshire Chamber dinner in March this year, Mr Trump said this of the lavish refurbishment  “At the conclusion of our hotel rebuilding, we will have exquisite new suites, magnificent ballrooms, restaurants and meeting facilities plus a sprawling and luxurious spa. When completed, Trump Turnberry will be the finest resort of its kind anywhere in the world.”

The hotel boasts 149 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, offering a perfect blend of Edwardian tradition and timeless design.

This public auction is a fantastic and unique opportunity for the local businesses, community, and further afield to get their hands on some high quality pieces. Confirmed in the auction to date are; Flat Screen Plasma Televisions, Suites, Pictures and Prints, Lighting and Chandeliers, Freestanding Sink Units, Bedroom Furniture including Beds and Mattresses, Bedside Cabinets, Freestanding Lamps & Framed Mirrors plus much more…
