The On Course Foundation is honoured to announce that for the second year in a row it has been chosen by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews to be its Christmas charity. All proceeds from sales of its exclusive Christmas Card will be donated to the charity which supports the recovery of wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel and veterans through golf.
Each year The Royal and Ancient Golf Club produces a Christmas Card, available for its members to purchase. This year the card is entitled ‘Winter Foursome’ and shows a snowscape of the iconic Royal and Ancient Clubhouse at St Andrews with four children enjoying a snowball fight on the grounds.
“We are privileged to be selected by The Royal and Ancient Golf Club as its Christmas Charity,” comments Steve Holt of the On Course Foundation. “We are incredibly grateful for their valuable support, but also for enabling us to raise awareness of the charity. Their endorsement, as well as those of our patrons, Arnold Palmer and HRH Duke of York, is essential in building our profile, which in turn means we can reach even more people.”
The artist, Ken Roberts, is himself a resident of St Andrews and is well known for creating colourful and atmospheric landscapes of Fife and the iconic St Andrews skyline. His prize-winning work has twice featured in “International Artist” magazine and is in many private collections in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

They have already reached hundreds of injured service men, women and Veterans and have proven that golf is accessible to everyone. We are inspired by the spirit and determination of their members and encourage others in the industry to support them where at all possible.”
