Attractive stay-and-play golf packages to Bali, the Island of the Gods, have been developed by newly-formed PT Golfasian Bali, the only dedicated inbound golf tourism company based on the island.
The packages comprise stays of two to five nights, with two to four rounds of golf, starting from $US486, including golf at the island’s four great courses, golf carts where specified, private transfers by large-top van, accommodation with breakfasts in four-star hotels.
Bali has four world-class golf courses: Nirwana Bali GC, a dramatic seaside layout designed by Greg Norman at Tanah Lot; New Kuta GC, Bali’s newest course at Pecatu on the Bukit Peninsula, designed by Ronald Fream; Bali National Golf Club at Nusa Dua, which re-opened in May after a redesign by Nelson Howarth; and Bali Handara in Bali’s central highlands, designed by Peter Thomson, Mike Woolveridge and Ronald Fream that has been ranked by US Golf Magazine as one of the top 50 courses in the world.
Mark Siegel, the owner of PT Golfasian Bali, established the business last month and is now co-ordinating promotional activities of Bali Golf Paradise, a collective of golf courses and hotels formed earlier this year to promote golf tourism to the island.
He says the Bali branch of Bangkok-based Golfasian solidifies its commitment to Bali, extends the company’s service excellence to Indonesia and provides ground services to Bali Golf Paradise members, Bali golf travelers, and overseas partners.
