Hilton Tees Up for a Bumper Summer of Golf

As the Official Supplier of Hotel Accommodation to The European Tour, Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT), announces the company has also been named an Official Partner of the BMW International Open and an Official Partner of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open. In what is set to be a bumper summer of golf, Hilton has also launched a season-long Hilton Golf Championship, a free to enter amateur golf event for players of all abilities across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
These partnerships come only weeks after a successful week for Hilton as an Associate Sponsor of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and renewal of its Title Sponsorship of the Hilton European Tour Golfer of the Month award. At the events, Hilton will host guests and members of Hilton HHonors, the company’s free-to-join loyalty programme, in VIP hospitality areas, as well as engage with spectators in the Championship Village exhibition spaces.

Onsite in Germany and Scotland, spectators will be able to partake in Hilton’s Chipping, Putting and ‘Guess the Golf Balls’ Challenges, where they will have the chance to win a host of great prizes, including a trip to Portugal for the Grand Final of the Hilton Golf Championship powered by VPAR.

In the build up to both events, Hilton is running a series of promotions and competitions over the summer. Hilton HHonors members and golf fans will have the chance to win VIP Hospitality tickets at HiltonGolf.com and a few lucky winners will also get the chance to tee-it-up at Castle Stuart Golf Links with Hilton on 6th July at a Pro-Am event – a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play alongside some of the world’s best players.
To round off a busy summer in golf, the inaugural Hilton Golf Championship, will allow golfers from various corners of the world to enter their scores for a chance to compete in a Grand Final in Portugal in October. The top 20 golfers who post the lowest individual net scores before September 4th will be invited to compete at a two-round Grand Final tournament at the luxurious Conrad Algarve, where Hilton Golf Ambassador Tyrrell Hatton will also be on hand to host the lucky winners.
