Leading specialist, Longshot Golf Holidays, has boosted the tuition content in its 2004 programme to encourage more people to try the game on holiday.
Tuition packages offer a range of options from Learn to Play to Advanced. The company also offers dedicated Junior Golf Clinics – aimed at six to 11 year olds – on the Algarve during school holiday periods.
Now under new management, Supergolf Vilamoura has instruction available for all levels of player visiting the Algarve. Facilities include a 49 bay driving range, target greens, putting, chipping and bunker play areas, two instruction studios and a three-hole academy course.
The beginners‘ clinic costs from £150 per person when four people participate, or £289 for a one to one with a personal instructor, and includes nine hours of tuition over five days. The improvers‘ clinic includes twelve hours‘ tuition and starts from £190 per person, while 15 hours of advanced lessons over five days start from £230 per person. Both prices are based on four people participating and include a complimentary video swing analysis and videocassette.
Longshot Golf Holidays is highlighting the four-star Vila Galà© Ampalius at Vilamoura where 2004 prices lead-in at £345 per person for Sunday to Wednesday departures between 1st and 30th January. This twin-share price includes return flights from Gatwick, car hire and seven nights‘ bed and breakfast accommodation.
Facilities at the hotel include indoor heated pool, health club and tennis courts. In addition, this hotel is situated between the beach and casino and is well placed for a good choice of top quality golf courses nearby.
