New Best Western ‘play & stay‘ hotel

9.00am 29th June 2004 - Travel

Best Western, the largest group of independently owned hotels in Great Britain, has recently welcomed the new Best Western Weald Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club into its portfolio of over 300 individually owned hotels. The hotel will add to the select range of golfing breaks offered by Best Western Hotels and will soon be featured in the Best Western Play and Stay brochure.
Although Best Western offer a wide range of hotels that have golfing facilities near by, the Best Western Weald Park Hotel Golf and Country Club is one of only ten hotels that offers golfing on-site. Set in the heart of the countryside near Brentwood, the newest hotel to join the group offers comfortable accommodation with traditional surroundings. Ideally located just minutes from the M25, the hotel has a wide variety of facilities to suit both business and leisure guests, including a modern restaurant and conference facilities available for up to 50 people. Recently refurbished, the three-star hotel is well equipped and the en-suite bedrooms are spacious and tastefully furnished.
The 18-hole golf course is set in charming parkland in the countryside and welcomes non-members and groups to the course. Green fees are set at £18.00 on weekdays and £24.00 on weekends.
Every Best Western hotel is independently owned and managed, so each has its own unique character, whilst independent annual inspections ensure customers enjoy consistently high levels of hospitality.
Best Western has over 70 independently owned hotels that offer golf breaks throughout the UK www.bestwestern.co.uk/hotelsforgolf
