Troon®, the leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, is present alongside 20 of its renowned international golf portfolio at the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) in Tenerife, from 5th-8th October 2015.

As the world’s premier golf travel event, Troon will utilise IGTM to showcase its global footprint, providing tour operators with the opportunity to partner with its prestigious golf properties.

“We’re excited about the chance to exhibit such a rich and diverse collective of bespoke packages from our venues, this year represents our most extensive list yet for tour operator partners,” commented Ian Bulleid, Director of Sales and Marketing, Troon International Division.

“For the tour operator, Troon has the ability provide a shortcut to properties across the globe, providing clear business opportunities for all concerned. Troon has, and remains a benchmark for quality. We’re excited to welcome new contacts, as well as enhancing relationships with existing partners.”

In its 25th anniversary year, Troon remains steadfast in its approach to create unmatched service levels and memorable golf experiences. This is evident throughout Troon’s global portfolio, which currently oversees operations at over 250 courses properties in 27 countries, including the likes Abu Dhabi Golf Club, UAE; Las Colinas Golf & Country Club, Spain; and The Grove, England who will also exhibit.

Its delivery at high-end luxury golf properties and developments has enabled Troon to successfully capture a niche in the golf and hospitality industry, providing a truly diverse collection of golf experiences all under one brand. At IGTM, Troon will look to engage with the golf travel community to discuss the opportunities that exist to collaborate on a portfolio of packages on a global scale.

During its celebratory year, Troon has continued to welcome all-new facilities to the family, including Lofoten Links, Norway; PalmGolf Marrakech – Ourika, Morocco; and Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman, UAE amongst others.

Selected European Golf media joined members of Troon’s leadership team to “accept the challenge” of Norway’s Arctic circle earlier this year, unveiling Lofoten Links to the world with the help of its global ambassador, Suzann Pettersen. PalmGolf Marrakech – Ourika expands the PalmGolf collection in Morocco, providing golfers with an authentic golf experience and easy links to the country’s cultural hub.

Troon’s newest course in the Middle East, and the first golf club in six-years for the UAE, is the magnificent Al Zorah Golf Club. The course is designed by the famed and highly regarded Nicklaus Design, and, having recently unveiled stunning imagery of the course, Al Zorah has opened its doors to membership enquiries with their full opening scheduled for December 2015.

Through Troon, Tour operators will be able to offer its consumers golf breaks that will allow them to follow in the footsteps of the world’s best players at European Tour host venues. Other opportunities as part of a “Troon Collection” include taking on fabled English links courses at Princes Golf Club, host of 1932 Open Championship; immersing in the historic surroundings of Chateau D’Augerville, a national heritage site in France; meandering through ancient Roman ruins at Lumine Mediterránea Beach & Golf Community; or embracing the exotic Medina near PalmGolf Marrakech Palmeraie in Morocco.
