As the world’s only 4-time Ryder Cup venue, The Belfry Hotel and Resort has long been associated with excellence across the game of golf, a reputation that has been further enhanced this year by two of golf’s leading equipment manufacturers, Titleist and TaylorMade, choosing the resort for the launch of their latest products.

Both brands chose the legendary resort to host key product experts and designers, alongside Europe’s most influential golf equipment journalists, showcasing their new 2014 product ranges for the very first time. Titleist launched the new 915 drivers, fairways and hybrids, whilst TaylorMade launched the new RSi irons.

With the extensive golf facilities on site, the selection of the Belfry by these market-leading brands underlines the suitability of the resort for any golf trip or break, no matter what you are looking for. Guests were able to test the latest products in the PGA National Golf Academy, which features state-of-the-art technology to accompany the expert team of PGA Professionals.

Alongside this, the world-class golf courses, including The Brabazon and PGA National, provided excellent layouts for guests to trial the new equipment on some of the country’s finest courses. This legendary setting offers the chance for once in a lifetime experiences. At the Titleist 915 launch, guests were given the opportunity to emulate Seve Ballesteros and drive the iconic 10th hole of The Brabazon in a unique floodlit challenge.

Away from the course, the fully refurbished hotel, restaurants, and spa provided the perfect base for guests to relax amongst the luxurious surroundings and first class hospitality. Whether you are looking for a relaxing post-golf meal or a formal welcome dinner, all with first-class food and beverage – The Belfry has it covered.

Chris Beaumont, Titleist Golf Club Marketing and Interactive Manager, commented: “The Belfry has always had a great reputation as one of the UK’s leading golf venues, due to its central location and incredible tournament heritage. However, following the recent refurbishments it has really been elevated to the next level – providing the perfect location for any golfing getaway, with all the facilities you could ever require.”

This praise was mirrored by Greg Pearse, Marketing Director, TaylorMade-adidas Golf: “The choice of venue for any product launch is always extremely important. We are always looking for somewhere that aligns with the brand and will impress our guests throughout their stay. The Belfry certainly ticks all of these boxes, by providing first class hospitality and everything that could ever be required for any golf break, both on and off the course.”

The Belfry works closely with leading brands to provide the ultimate golf retail experience at the resort across both the new contemporary Golf Shop, with the finest selection of golf hardware and apparel, and the PGA National Academy, with its dedicated custom fitting rooms for Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway and Ping.

Ian Knox, Director of Golf at The Belfry feels that this recognition is a huge compliment for the resort and the whole team: “We work hard to provide the best golfing experiences for all of our guests and are honoured to have been chosen to host such esteemed individuals from across the golf industry. We work closely with both brands across our retail and fitting offerings, but it has been great for us to showcase everything else we have to offer across the resort.”
