China Fleet launches co-working facility

West Country resort unveils new facilities for home workers and freelancers looking for a more sociable work environment

China Fleet Country Club in Cornwall has officially opened a new co-working facility that provides a professional, flexible environment for remote workers, freelancers, and businesses.

The transformation from a simple function suite into a modern, purpose-built workspace reflects the Saltash-based club’s ongoing commitment to reinvesting in its facilities and responding to the evolving needs of its members and the wider professional community.

The co-working space features dedicated desks with high-speed internet, food and beverage service to your desk and free parking. There are flexible usage options, including a Full Membership, which offers access to the co-working space and Health Club facilities seven days a week, plus one free half-day boardroom rental per month; and the Flex Membership, which offers single-day access from 6.30am to 10pm; and boardroom hire with high-speed internet, presentation screen, and desk-side food and beverage service.

The club offers a shared workspace as well as private boardroom hire

Dean Bennett, General Manager of China Fleet Country Club, said: “We wanted to create more than just a workspace. It reflects our commitment to our members and the wider community, providing a professional environment where people can connect, collaborate, and thrive. With more people working from home than ever, this space offers the perfect solution to combat isolation and maintain productivity.”

In recent years, China Fleet has invested millions of pounds to enhance its offering, including a £2.5 million refurbishment of its leisure and hotel facilities, the installation of a solar PV system to support sustainability goals, and the launch of the new fitness suite.

Co-working members always have access to the club’s health and fitness facilities
China Fleet is also home to a hotel and 18-hole championship golf course
