The Alps Tour has postponed the three upcoming events scheduled to take place in Egypt this month due to the global coronavirus outbreak.

The Allegria Open (March 19-21), the Dreamland Pyramids Open (March 24-26), and the New Giza Open (March 29-31), which formed the Alps Tour’s Winter Series, will be rescheduled for September. Exact details will be released in the near future.

The next tournament on the Alps Tour’s schedule is the Abruzzo Open, which is being held at Miglianico Golf & Country Club in Italy, which is currently the most coronavirus-affected country in Europe. The tournament is due to begin on April 24.

A spokesperson for the tour said: “At the moment, no other postponement of events are envisaged, although we are closely monitoring the situation and we shall abide by the orders of the relevant authorities.”
