“You can’t beat custom fitting” is the Mizuno motto that was proved right by Gary Orr’s win in the Victor Chandler Masters at Woburn last weekend.
The Mizuno golfer had taken his clubs into the company’s workshop to have them adjusted just one week before his success – saying he felt there was something just not quite right.
David Matthews at Mizuno said: “The irons were put one degree more upright – and the clubs were re-gripped. This really seems to have done the trick – you can’t get a much higher accolade for our clubs and custom fitting than that.”
