Dryrainge 2Following the retirement of Mr John Makepeace a new distributor has taken the helm: Specialised Canvas Group, a group of business specialising in all things covers, repairs and installations – the perfect combination for Dry Rainge!

Dry Rainge can now be installed throughout the UK by the company’s installation team. The handover also means Dry Rainge has a few new services to offer such as repairs and additional banners which fit to the canopy.

Director, Paul Noble, commented on the new opportunity which the business acquired around six months ago: “Dry Rainge seemed too good to be missed! The Dryrainge 1product aligns so well with our capabilities and is a fantastic asset for any club in the changeable Great British weather. John was incredibly helpful in handing over all the experience he had gained and we hope help Dry Rainge meet its full potential.”

Since taking on the distributorship the firm have made a few tweaks to the frame to further strengthen it as well as completing a range of wind loading calculations to offer the best advice possible for clubs considering these unique canopies.

Canopies have been installed a various clubs including: Garforth Golf Club, Gerrards Cross Golf Club and Roehampton Golf Club to name just a few.

Mr Roger Hyder, Director of Golf for the Old Thorns Hotel, Golf and Country Club commented: “Not only does the cover keep the rain off but also seems to cut down the wind effect as well. The structure is very sturdy and looks extremely impressive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to my fellow Professionals.”
