England Golf announces official insurance partner

England Golf expands commercial partnership with leading insurance broker.

England Golf has announced a new partnership with Howden, naming the leading global insurance broker as its Official Insurance Partner in a three-year agreement running until the end of 2028.

Headquartered in London and operating in 57 countries, Howden is recognised internationally for its specialist insurance and risk-services expertise. The group is also known for its growing presence in community sport through partnerships with the British & Irish Lions, the Great Britain SailGP Team, the Lawn Tennis Association, and Ascot Racecourse.

Howden’s strong position within the sports industry creates a powerful platform for England Golf to broaden its influence and connect with an expanding audience that values partnership with a recognised leader in the field.

Across the next three years there will be significant work from both organisations to work collectively on building a relationship that signifies a deep understanding of the insurance needs within the golfing community.

As part of the new agreement, Howden will continue its role as the insurance broker responsible for arranging £10 million public liability insurance for every England Golf club member and iGolf subscriber. To enhance this provision, a new scheme will be introduced, giving golfers the option to purchase additional cover for areas such as theft and overseas travel.

This new platform will dovetail with the existing cover, providing a seamless upgrade option that clearly defines the added value and cover golfers can unlock.
