Golf Europe Success for CaddyAid Mobile GPS

CaddyAid Mobile brings first time GPS readouts to people’s ordinary phones with unlimited course downloads included for the retail price of £49.99.

One stand at Golf Europe which always had plenty of pros and retailers listening intently was CaddyAid Mobile Golf GPS, bringing for the first time GPS readouts to people’s ordinary phones such as Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung, Sony Ericsson etc with unlimited course downloads included for the retail price of £49.99.

“The frequent comment was ‘why are we paying for standalone products costing us hundreds of £/€ and committing to large quantities, when CaddyAid Mobile is all on sale or return, a better product and so much cheaper to sell – how can we loose?’” said David Morris of DMC.

In essence, when installed into the retailer, the goods are indeed supplied as Sale or Return, and it is only at the end of the month, when all sales are totalled up, that the invoice is duly sent out.

David Morris continues, “I was absolutely delighted how the show went. We had no idea how the concept or the trade business model would be received, but it was fantastic. Competing products such as SkyCaddy and Golf Buddy retail around the £300 mark, but we are only £49.99, so for the consumer it is an easy choice.

“For the retailer in these tough times, we can supply the goods at no cost, only billing after sales are made, so the retailer wins both ways. The user gets GPS readouts to all the key points on the hole, and the club pro gets a complementary version, complete with full colour Tour graphics of the course as well’.

As a result of the show, CaddyAid is expected to be seen across Europe including countries such as Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, in addition to other countries further afield such as Malaysia and Japan.

Once again the Welsh company, who designed CaddyAid Mobile, is competing with the big players, and seem to be making quite an impression.
