Integrated golf solutions platform ION 54 has made a strategic investment in Caddy Clubhouse, the organisation setting the standard for caddying globally.

The investment reflects ION 54’s continued commitment to building a fully integrated golf ecosystem that supports owners, operators, and investors with specialist capability, operational intelligence, and long-term strategic oversight.

By bringing Caddy Clubhouse alongside other market-leading service-led capabilities, ION 54 strengthens its ability to influence service standards, professional development, and on-course experience across the world’s leading golf assets. The investment shows the value of the caddy to leading players and clubs as well as the importance of the role as a robust career pathway in the sport.

Caddy Clubhouse operates as the benchmark for modern caddying, providing structured education, accreditation pathways, and operational frameworks designed to support individual caddies in addition to the clubs and professional tours they serve. The organisation exists to raise standards, improve consistency, and professionalise a critical component of the golf experience.

Founded by experienced tour caddies and industry practitioners, Caddy Clubhouse acts as the governing body for the caddy profession, delivering comprehensive training programmes spanning on-course performance, service excellence, and leadership development, including progression pathways to senior roles such as Caddie Master and Tour Caddy.

Alongside education, the organisation supports clubs with tailored recruitment, development, and management systems that strengthen service delivery, improve reliability, and enhance the overall guest and player experience.

Caddy Clubhouse brings a credible, professional framework into our platform that strengthens service standards, supports career development, and aligns closely with our commitment to raising the bar across the game.”

He added: “This is a strategic investment in the future of the profession and in the quality, consistency, and sustainability of service delivery at leading golf destinations worldwide.”

Jonathan Smart, Co-Founder, Caddy Clubhouse, said: “Joining ION 54 represents an important next chapter for Caddy Clubhouse. Their integrated approach to golf investment, operations, and performance aligns closely with our ambition to elevate standards and build clear, respected career pathways within caddying. Together, we can scale our impact, work more closely with clubs and owners, and continue to develop the profession in line with the highest standards.”

As part of ION 54, Caddy Clubhouse will work alongside the group’s strategic advisory, development, operations, sustainability, and commercial teams to support clients in delivering consistently high standards of service, professionalism, and guest experience. The acquisition further enhances ION 54’s ability to provide fully accountable, end-to-end solutions that align asset performance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
