Yamaha Motor chiefs are claiming the purchase of Keep Golfing will keep them in pole position as the leading golf car distributor in the UK.
The deal between Yamaha and their largest golf car distributor includes Keep Golfing’s entire fleet of golf cars and their existing contract agreements.
Yamaha now hope their golf car team, based at the company’s head office in Weybridge, Surrey, can work more closely with golf courses on all aspects of the business, from sales and rentals to car servicing. Andrew Smith, Sales and Marketing Director Yamaha Motor (UK) Ltd, said, “ this purchase will further strengthen our position as the leading golf car distributor in the UK. It will enable our experienced golf car team to work directly with golf courses on all aspects of the golf business from the initial purchase or hire, promotion of golf car rentals and car servicing from our head office based in Weybridge, Surrey.”
