El Camaleón at Mayakoba has joined IMG Prestige as the golf club and resort network’s first course in Mexico.

Designed by Greg Norman and with a stunning beachside setting, the 18-hole championship course blends through the diverse ecosystems of the award-winning Mayakoba Resort, including tropical jungle, dense mangroves, freshwater canals, limestone walls and pristine Riviera Maya oceanfront. In 2007, El Camaleon became the first course in Latin America to host a PGA Tour event.

Located just 30 minutes from Cancun airport, Mayakoba is situated on a stretch of Caribbean coastline that offers world class golf year round, and is the perfect stay and play venue.

The venue hosted LIV Golf’s first event in Latin America on February 24–26, 2023 as part of a pioneering new partnership.
