The North Devon Gazette reports that Golf commentator Peter Alliss has added his distinctive commentary to a video of all 18 holes at Ilfracombe Golf Course.
The BBC presenter said the 13th hole was ‘one of the best par fours in the whole of Devon’ and also gave an overview of the course and the club facilities.
The new videos were recently commissioned by club captain Philip Webb, using a drone with high definition cameras on board.
In his commentary, Peter said he was impressed by the stunning views from the course as well as the challenge it offers golfers of all levels.
He says the view from the third overlooking Watermouth Harbour is one of the best backdrops any hole could have.
Philip said he was delighted with the videos and with Peter’s commentary and had invited him to visit Ilfracombe and its golf club.
