Rowallan Castle Becomes IMG Prestige+ Client

The golf course, designed by 2010 winning Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie, can be regarded as a modern classic amongst Ayrshire's seemingly endless list of world class golf courses

Rowallan Castle in Scotland has become one of the latest in a growing number of leading clubs and resorts to join the Prestige+ programme. Featuring access to the exclusive IMG Prestige network of over 200 leading golf courses around the world, the programme also includes extensive sales, marketing and PR support across key areas such as media and travel industry relationships, social media, direct marketing and events and representation. 

The golf course can be regarded as a modern classic amongst Ayrshire’s seemingly endless list of world class golf courses. Designed by 2010 winning Ryder Cup Captain Colin Montgomerie, the course is now in its 12th full season of play and is fast gaining a reputation as a masterpiece thanks to its fast undulating greens, cavernous bunkers and mature setting.

With a choice of two fabulous historic castles sleeping 8 or 21 people, Rowallan Castle is located just 30-minutes’ drive from Glasgow and Prestwick airport. Standing at the gateway to some of the world’s finest links courses, the venue not only offer’s great golf in its own right, but serves as the perfect base to explore some of golf’s most iconic and historic courses on Scotland’s stunning west coast.
