European Golf Design has invested £85,000 in a new 3D facility to become the first agency of its kind in Europe to offer prospective golf course buyers the chance to take a virtual’walk’ through each hole before construction begins.
The system, allowing the Chobham-based company to extend their services, will also be used in presentations to planning authorities to demonstrate how the course will fit in with the surrounding area. European Golf Design is currently working on 15 courses, over nine sites, including Woburn Golf and Country Club in England, Schloss Blucher in Germany and PGA Golf de Catalunya in Spain.
