Braemar Golf, St Andrews is to proactively participate at this year’s KPMG Golf Business Forum in Dubai, 17 – 19 April.

This is the second time Braemar Golf has participated as a sponsor of the event. “We feel it is vitally important to be involved in such an important golf industry business forum, especially now that it is being hosted in the Middle East for the first time, a region we have been working in for over 15 years now” said Braemar Golf’s Managing Director Keith Haslam.

Michael Braidwood

Braemar Golf’s Operations Director Michael Braidwood has been invited onto the first discussion panel of the event “What’s next for golf in the GCC” to give his insight following his 13 years experience of managing golf clubs in the region.

“I am looking forward to joining the panel which will debate where we have got golf to thus far in the region and to explore the possibilities for the future. With more facilities coming on line in the region and the participation levels of the game stagnating, I think we are all looking for proactive solutions to grow the game and the business of golf in general” said Michael.

In addition, Braemar Golf has also introduced Mr Najib Arhila, the Deputy General Manager of CGI, the largest real estate developer in Morocco, to the KPMG Golf Forum and Mr Arhila will participate in the “Future of Golf Resort and Golf Estates Development”. Braemar Golf are working with CGI on numerous golf projects in Morocco and are delighted Mr Arhila will be participating in this year’s event.

Accompanying Keith and Michael at the KPMG Golf Business Forum will be Andrew Glen who has recently been appointed as General Manager (Morocco) to set up Braemar Golf’s Morocco office.

Keith, Michael and Andrew would be delighted to meet anyone who is also attending the event.
