British Golf Show moves to September

The British Golf Show has had to move its scheduled date again following the latest UK Government announcement on the easing of the lockdown restrictions.

The show’s organisers, Elite Events Ltd, had hoped to stage the event at Wycombe Air Park in Buckinghamshire over the weekend of May 14-15, but it has now been moved to September 17-18 to fall in line with the Government’s rules regarding large-scale outdoor events.

A spokesman for The British Golf Show said: “We remain entirely focussed on delivering a physical event later in the year, and with it, being the only physically attended golf show in the UK this year, fulfilling the desire for the industry to come back together again. Safety has always been a high priority and has been factored into all of our planning.

“We recognise that these revised dates might potentially present a challenge to some of our current exhibitors or visitors. To that affect, we will simply offer any exhibitor or visitor the opportunity to roll their existing booking with us over to our dates in 2022, should they be unable to attend later this year in September.”
