Golf Tourism England is to host its 7th Annual GTE Convention at Saunton Sands Hotel in North Devon from 20-21 July, 2026.

This flagship event brings together leading tour operators, golf clubs, resorts, tourism boards and industry partners for two focused days of networking, insight and golf.

Perched above the sweeping golden sands of Saunton Beach, Saunton Sands Hotel offers a unique combination of style, comfort and dramatic coastal scenery. It provides an inspiring setting for meaningful discussions, productive business appointments and long-term relationship building.

The hotel is located just a short distance from Saunton Golf Club, home to two of the UK’s finest championship links, the East and the West, both of which delegates will have the chance to play.

Delegates will have the opportunity play the championship courses at Saunton Golf Club

GTE Covention delegates can look forward to high-quality, personalised networking with key decision-makers, along with focused seminar sessions offering current perspectives on golf tourism, and structured business appointments, including speed-networking.

Discover South Carolina will serve as the event’s headline sponsor, with the Monday evening dinner and prize presentation will once again be hosted in partnership with them.
