Al Houara Golf Club in Morocco has appointed Troon to utilise its management experience and expertise across its agronomy, marketing and operations. 

Troon’s International division manage and provide services to resorts worldwide with courses across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. It has vast experience in Morocco, having been engaged previously with multiple facilities, including assisting with the development of Al Houara which first opened in 2019. 

Al Houara Golf Club, which is located in Tangier City, will fall under the brand of Troon Golf which represents a portfolio of daily-fee, resort and semi-private properties that deliver superior guest services, the finest playing surfaces, and outstanding amenities.

Al Houara Golf Club, along with its onsite hotel, the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa, has quickly asserted itself as one of the world’s best new golf resorts, named in Golf.com’s Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World in September 2023.

At the heart of this is a challenging 18-hole par-72 course designed by Graham Marsh in collaboration with Vijay Singh, with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards providing golfers a tough test. The golf club also boasts a floodlit nine-hole short course, a driving range with short game areas and two indoor swing rooms.
