Golf Accountancy Matters has confirmed the final schedule for its 2026 Conference & Workshop, taking place on 26 February 2026 at Camberley Heath Golf Club. The event will bring together senior figures from across the UK golf industry for a day of insight, discussion, and practical learning focused on financial management, accounting best practice, and long-term commercial sustainability for golf clubs.
The Conference will open with a welcome and introductory session from Paul Mould, setting the context for a programme addressing the financial, technological, and strategic challenges facing golf clubs and golf-related businesses, with a particular emphasis on governance, reporting, and financial resilience.
A dedicated session from Weatherbys Banking Group will follow, introducing a private banking-style service model that has historically been absent from the golf sector.
With a heritage spanning more than two centuries and a reputation for relationship-led, high-touch banking, Weatherbys’ entry into the market represents a significant and differentiated proposition. The session will outline how its bespoke approach to deposits, asset finance, and financial stewardship can support clubs and their members, alongside an early look at a new Treasurer-style framework designed to strengthen governance, liquidity oversight, and long-term planning.
Next, ClubBenchmarking EMEA and Jerry Kilby will deliver a data-driven session focused on performance benchmarking, financial ratios, and comparative analysis. Drawing on ClubBenchmarking’s Compass Capital Planning software, the session will demonstrate how robust financial data underpins effective governance, capital planning, and informed board-level decision-making.
The AMGL Session will focus on innovations in financial forecasting, cashflow management, management reporting, and accounting best practice within the golf sector, offering practical insight into improving visibility, strengthening controls, and supporting sustainable growth.
A key highlight of the day will be the Artificial Intelligence session featuring Andy Doyle and Jamie Abbott, exploring how emerging technologies are beginning to influence the way financial information is captured, analysed, and used within golf businesses.

The Conference will conclude with a panel discussion hosted by Leighton Walker, featuring Simon Jones, Mike Harris, and Ben Sharpe (pictured above) examining the future commercial direction of golf and the importance of maintaining strong financial foundations.
The Golf Accountancy Matters Conference & Workshop continues to establish itself as a must-attend event for club managers, finance teams, owners, and professional advisors. Tickets are available to purchase online – https://golfaccountancymatters.co.uk/2026-conference-registration/
