Golf clubs across the Scottish Highlands are getting together to share success stories and tackle challenges.

More than 30 clubs, ranging from nine-hole community courses to global magnets like Royal Dornoch, Nairn and Cabot Highlands, are members of the long-established Golf Highland organisation.

On October 28, representatives from across the region will attend a Finance Workshop at Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness headed up by golf financial expert Kevin Fish, who runs his own training and consultancy business, Contemporary Club Leadership.

“This is a great opportunity for clubs of all sizes,” said Isle of Skye based Ally Young, of Golf Highland.

“Kevin is a highly respected figure in the industry at home and abroad, with over 25 years’ experience in roles including general manager, board chairman and club development manager for Scottish Golf.

“Our members will have an opportunity to tap into his knowledge on matters ranging from club governance and strategic planning to financial analysis.”
