La Reserva Club enjoys rise in Platinum Clubs of the World ranking

Improvements at exclusive Spanish venue recognised by global industry panel

La Reserva Club in Spain has once again been included in the list of Platinum Clubs of the World, securing 135th place among the top 150 golf and country clubs worldwide for 2026-27.

The new ranking marks a rise of seven places from its previous position and reinforces the Sotogrande-based club’s standing as one of the most respected private clubs in Europe. La Reserva Club is also one of only four clubs in Spain to be featured in the list.

Regarded as an influential accolade in the private club sector, the Platinum Clubs of the World selection is determined by an international panel of industry leaders who evaluate clubs on reputation, service, facilities, and overall member experience around the finest golf clubs of the world, including Asia-Pacific, Europe & Middle East.

La Reserva Club’s advancement reflects ongoing improvements across the venue and the commitment of its team to delivering a memorable and highly personalised environment for members, residents, and visitors.

“We are proud to be recognised among the world’s leading private clubs,” said Oscar Checa, Club Manager of La Reserva Club. “Our improved position on the 2026-2027 list is a testament to the hard work of our team and the continued trust of our community. It inspires us to keep raising the standard of what La Reserva Club offers in this wonderful location of Sotogrande.”
