Not content with sending its golf bags down the Valley of Falling Water in its recent Aqua Falls campaign, BIG MAX is dialling up the extreme waterproof bag testing with its new ‘Aqua Lake’ adventure.

Together with wakeboard champion Niko Juric and professional foil surfer Martin Dürrschmid, BIG MAX took its golf bags through an extraordinary challenge. No simulated weather conditions. No lab tests. Just water, speed, and pure physical impact.

With loaded Aqua Sport 4 and Dri Lite Hybrid Plus bags strapped to their backs, Niko and Martin jumped waves, spun through the air, and crashed into the water with full force. A true spectacle – and the ultimate stress test for a waterproof bag.

But this wasn’t just a stunt that produced some remarkable footage. BIG MAX set itself three challenges to prove the bag’s ultimate resilience.

1. Water resistance under full submersion: The bags were pushed far beyond a typical rainy round. Submerged directly in the lake, exposed to repeated water contact, and tested over extended wet sessions, the waterproofing was pushed to its limits.

2. Performance in motion: With a lightweight design and ergonomic carrying systems, the bags had to stay secure and comfortable – no chafing, no stretching. Even during airborne stunts and high-impact landings, they held steady.

3. Durability under pressure: The specially developed AQUA material faced not just water, but serious mechanical strain. Pressure, motion, and friction tested every seam and join.

After countless jumps, spins, and full water impact, the BIG MAX bags demonstrated exceptional resilience and unmatched waterproof qualities. And for those wondering what happened when the bags filled with water? Despite soaked lining and dripping dividers, the bags dried completely with no swelling, warping, or performance loss. Zippers and carrying systems continued to work flawlessly, as the bags returned to good as new.
