Centurion Club appoints Sports Impact for PR & marketing brief

Award-winning agency to implement a golf-focused PR & communications programme for Hertfordshire-based private members’ club.

Centurion Club has appointed leading PR, marketing and sponsorship agency Sports Impact to deliver an integrated PR and marketing strategy designed to strengthen the Hertfordshire club’s position as one of the UK’s most progressive and sought-after private members’ golf destinations.

Under the agreement, Sports Impact will implement a golf-focused communications programme aimed at elevating Centurion Club’s profile within both the UK and European golf landscapes, while also focussing on the ever-growing popularity of golf in the United Arab Emirates by attracting high-net-worth international golfers.

The strategy will support the St Albans-based club’s commercial and brand objectives through proactive media engagement, strategic positioning, influencer and social media marketing and partnership development.

A key focus of the programme will be reinforcing the club’s reputation as a premium yet welcoming private members’ club, shaping an ‘exclusive yet inclusive’ identity and expanding visibility across golf, lifestyle and business audiences, with the overarching goal of attracting new members across our diverse membership categories.

“We are delighted to appoint Sports Impact to lead our PR and marketing strategy in what is a pivotal time for the golf club,” said Michael Duffy, Centurion Club’s General Manager. “Centurion Club has always sought to push the boundaries of what a modern private members’ club can be and with Sports Impact’s expertise and network within the global golf industry, we look forward to amplifying our story and continuing to evolve the club’s profile both in the UK and internationally.”

Natalie Collard, Sports Impact CEO, said: “Centurion Club is one of the most exciting and progressive venues in European golf and we’re delighted to have been chosen to play a key role in telling its story. Our integrated PR programme will focus on elevating its reputation, engaging new high-value audiences and supporting the club’s commercial ambitions, while showcasing everything that makes Centurion such a unique destination.”
