ION 54, launched last month by sports and entertainment group 54, has been appointed to deliver a comprehensive marketing services programme for Golf Genius, the leading worldwide provider of digital software and solutions in golf.
The new agreement, which was confirmed by the two parties during the PGA Show in Orlando following a competitive pitch process, will focus on accelerating international market awareness and engagement with Golf Genius’ brand and suite of innovative products.
Under the partnership, ION 54 will provide Golf Genius with ongoing strategic consultancy, marketing planning and operational support across its international business, with a focus on the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the indoor golf simulator market.
The collaboration is also designed to support Golf Genius’ global growth with expansion into new markets across Asia, as well as spearheading the rollout of the company’s integrated simulator golf solution in the UK, Irish, Nordics and Japanese markets.
Golf Genius serves over 10,000 private clubs, public courses, resorts and academies in over 60 countries, as well as many of the game’s most influential national governing bodies, PGAs and tours. Its product suite includes tournament and league management, golf shop operations, coaching, WHS Handicapping, beginner programmes, while its consumer apps reach more than 15 million players globally.
