Terre Blanche appoints Landmark for marcomms & PR brief

Provençal resort partners with UK-based media agency.

Terre Blanche, the No.1 golf resort in France, has appointed specialist golf marketing agency LANDMARK for international PR and brand communications following a competitive tendering process.

The luxury resort in Provence, featuring a five-star hotel, spa and Michelin-starred restaurant, has put in place significant investment to upgrade its two championship golf courses as it targets a growing global audience of discerning golfers and their families.

Marc Delauné, President of Terre Blanche, a European Tour Destination, said: “It’s an exciting time for Terre Blanche. As well as investing in our two golf courses, Le Château and Le Riou, we continue to develop a range of world-class golf amenities and family experiences, making Terre Blanche the perfect place to retreat to.

“LANDMARK has an impressive track record, managing the reputations of numerous world top 100 golf resorts and prestigious private clubs. As an agency, it is ideally positioned to help us communicate our distinct luxury value proposition and attract new generations of customers from around the world.”

LANDMARK’s appointment follows the recent signing of an exclusive partnership with Troon International, making Terre Blanche the group’s flagship property in Europe and giving access to Troon Privé, a network of more than 145 private clubs across the globe.

Investments at the resort also include enhancements to the luxury hotel, comprising 115 suites and villas, as well as the release of plots for residential development, alongside the existing luxury residential community.

Gary Firkins, founder of LANDMARK, said: “Since it opened just over two decades ago, Terre Blanche has set the standard for world-class golf and luxury resort lifestyle in France and Europe. In particular, the Albatros Golf Performance Center – arguably the best golf training facility in Europe – and the extensive Kids’ Club, offering outdoor and nature-based activities, make Terre Blanche a complete destination for families, and a quiet and private place to relax and retreat to.”

Just 45 minutes’ drive from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport – serviced by direct flights from across Europe, North America and the Middle East – Terre Blanche is the only destination in France to feature both a luxury resort and private members’ club.
