Southwell commented: “We go live in the America with a USA specific digital edition, which marks a great step forward in our plans for the globalization of the brand. America is home to over 60 million golfers, and there is no golf media that addresses a younger audience, who want to be entertained as well as informed about golf.”

GolfPunk USA is based in San Diego, close to Carlsbad, the unofficial home of golf in the USA. The business is lead by CEO Tyler Jenson, with Brian Lichterman as Managing Editor. Content will be created both locally and out of the UK office.

Tyler Jenson commented: “We have always been great fans of GolfPunk, and believe that it is the perfect time to bring it to an American audience, using all the digital marketing tools that are now available to us. Whilst we will be more focused on the US PGA tour in terms of golfers, we will be absolutely keeping to the tone and attitude of the UK edition.”
