BLEC GLOBAL launched two new machines for the golf and sportsturf industry at BTME, Harrogate.

A revolutionary new tractor-mounted golf green disc overseeder with 26mm (one inch) spacing between the discs – the closest spacing of any disc seeder produced by BLEC – was well received by greenkeepers.

And BLEC also showed their new two-wheel tractor with a power transmission unit that will operate many machines, including their own Cultipack Seeder, Dual Gravel Bander (both seen at the show) and Power Box Rakes.

The tractor is available with a Honda or Yamaha engine, and with diesel or petrol options – and with drive to the front and rear drums.

Also at Harrogate was the universally successful BLEC Multivator, an ideal aeration unit (in various sizes) which decompacts and recycles rootzone material in one pass.

Says BLEC managing director Gary Mumby: “BTME was very successful for us this year and we were delighted to sell several machines off the stand.

“We regard BTME as a very important show where we get the chance to start the year by showing our latest innovations for golf and sportsturf professionals.

“It is a great place to catch up with customers and old friends.”
