Breakthrough Golf introduces Paradox zero torque putters

Breakthrough Golf Technology, the Texas-based company behind the revolutionary Stability shaft, is once again redefining putting performance with the launch of its new Paradox putter – the only zero torque putter engineered with Swing Balance Technology.

While most zero torque designs align the centre of gravity under the shaft, Paradox takes a dynamic approach with Principal Axis alignment. By positioning weight low in the heel and high in the toe, Paradox optimally aligns with the golfer’s natural stroke, like wheel alignment on a car, reducing unwanted rotation and improving consistency.

In extensive testing, BGT observed more made putts, missed putts finishing 10% closer to the hole, and a ball that achieved a true roll 20% faster. The weighting also promotes consistent centre contact, ensuring superior distance control on every stroke.

“Every putt tells you something – from the softest touch to your hardest roll,” said Barney Adams, CEO of Breakthrough Golf. “Paradox locks in centre strikes, so you’re dialling in distance control with every roll. Because in putting, nothing matters more.”

The Paradox Putter, which is offered in blade and fang designs, features a CNC-milled aluminium frame with steel weights, paired with a precision-milled face for a consistent and smooth roll. It is centre-shafted to promote a straight-back, straight-through stroke, while the midsize non-taper grip enhances feel and control.

Adjustable loft and lie options are available, with 3° loft and 70° lie as standard. The putter is available in 33, 34 and 35-inch shaft options, with a choice of a standard graphite shaft or BGT’s Stability Tour Shaft, a performance-driven innovation that dramatically reduce torque and minimises shaft deflection, keeping the putter face square throughout the stroke. Its multi-material construction provides a solid, responsive feel while promoting a truer, quicker roll and superior distance control.

The blade model weighs 355g and offers a traditional look at address with minimal offset compared to other putters in the category, while the 365g mallet features a refined fanged design for optimal alignment without the bulk often associated with oversized zero torque mallets.

RRPs: £499/€585 with a standard graphite shaft, or £699 /€820 with Stability Tour Shaft.
