FootJoy has once again partnered with Harris Tweed Hebrides to introduce two new limited-edition golf shoe models ahead of the 153rd Open Championship.
This year’s collection is inspired by the traditions of Royal Portrush Golf Club and the cultural heritage of its coastal hinterland. An intricately woven plaid pattern set with the classic FootJoy Premiere Series silhouette makes for a unique shoe fit for the dunes and beyond.
Governed by The Harris Tweed Act, the fabric must be handwoven in the Outer Hebrides using traditional methods to maintain the integrity and distinctive character of the fabric which is recognised worldwide for its quality.
The limited-edition Premiere Series Packard and Field use hand-woven Harris Tweed wool cloth combined with premium full grain leather. Combining these fine details with Premiere Series’ revolutionary VersaTrax+ technology, means golfers can rely on a shoe that delivers unparalleled traction and stability in every condition.
FootJoy brand ambassadors such as Adam Scott, Matt Wallace and Cameron Young will be presented with the shoes ahead of the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Mark Hogarth, brand ambassador at Harris Tweed Hebrides, said: “We are delighted to once again collaborate with FootJoy for the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club. This is the fifth year of our partnership, and we are delighted to continue to work with a brand with such a rich heritage and premium quality of product.
“Following the success of ‘The Stamp’ Premiere Series in 2024, this year’s design is a classic plaid in a balance of muted and deep blue shades allowing the burgundy windowpane to give a vibrant accent. FootJoy worked closely with The Harris Tweed Hebrides design team to select a bold pattern to match both the heritage and unique nature of Royal Portrush Golf Club.”

Chris Tobias, Footjoy’s Vice President Of Global Footwear, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Harris Tweed Hebrides for yet another exciting collaboration. This is the first time we have worked together to create a design that pays homage to the County of Antrim in Northern Ireland, celebrating its cultural heritage and stunning landscapes.
“We could not think of a better way to round up the 2025 Legends Series collection and we look forward to seeing many of our FJ players sporting both the Packard and Field models at this year’s Open Championship.”
Available at retail from July 15, each pair, which are priced at £230, come with a custom shoe bag made from Harris Tweed. For more details, visit www.footjoy.co.uk
