Motocaddy rolls out new remote-control trolley fleet

Leading electric trolley brand unveils trio of upgraded remote-controlled models for the new season.

Motocaddy has introduced three new remote-control trolleys with the launch of the M7 GPS REMOTE, M7 REMOTE and ME REMOTE.

The new models form part of Motocaddy’s 2026 electric trolley range and are designed to offer golfers a choice of cutting-edge GPS performance, responsive remote control and outstanding value, all backed by the brand’s renowned reliability and unrivalled innovation.

“These new trolleys take our remote-control range to the next level as we offer golfers a selection of game-changing features at different price points,” said Motocaddy’s Marketing Director, Oliver Churcher. “The new M7 GPS REMOTE is the world’s most advanced electric golf trolley, with upgraded styling and a giant leap in GPS technology. Similarly, the new M7 REMOTE debuts a bigger screen with enhanced functionality, while the significantly upgraded ME REMOTE delivers our award-winning remote technology at an entry-level price point. All three offer different features, depending on what golfers want to use on the course.

“The popularity of remote-control trolleys in the UK and Ireland has soared in recent years and we’re proud to have been leading the charge. Last year our remote sales grew by 44%, with a significant 46% of our electric trolley sales now coming from remote models.”

Brand new for 2026, golfers can now personalise the trolley GPS software with shortcuts to the features they use most. Developed by Motocaddy’s new in-house software engineers, the system lets golfers choose between 2D or 3D mapping, including a cutting-edge 3D hole flyover, 3D panning and 2D zoom options, portrait or landscape views, and 2D radial distance markers. Additional features include light or dark mode for optimal visibility, clock, round and lost-ball timers, plus super-fast Wi-Fi for over-the-air firmware and course updates.

The sleek automotive-inspired design was developed by the brand’s product design team using Virtual Reality and rapid-prototyping, alongside A.I. technologies. The modern look includes CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free Lithium battery technology that integrates into the design seamlessly. The lightweight, yet powerful battery incorporating auto-disconnect technology automatically powers off the trolley when folded, with a pop-up port for quick and easy charging.

New ergonomic handle grips and 10-spoke low-profile aerodynamic tyres with all-terrain tread completes the new 2026 design, along with a retractable rear anti-tip stabilising wheel which can remain attached for folding.

Featured across all Motocaddy REMOTE models, the advanced Downhill Control system automatically regulates trolley speed on slopes, applying braking when required to slow descent for unrivalled control. All models also include Motocaddy’s Adaptive Terrain Stability technology, which continuously monitors wheel speed and load to adjust motor output in real time. This intelligent feature assists straight-line tracking, enhanced stability and smooth, consistent performance, providing golfers ultimate hands-free control across any terrain.

The M7 GPS REMOTE is available from March with a cable-free ULTRA Lithium battery at an RRP of £1,499.99/€1,799.99.
