Following the successful launch of Shot Scope‘s new PRO L1 laser rangefinder in the UK and Europe last October, the company has now begun selling it into the United States market.

Shot Scope’s first rangefinder, the lightweight PRO L1 boasts six-times magnification and has a range of up to 875 yards. It offers slope compensated distances, which can be switch off if being used for tournament play, and users can switch between black and red dual optics, with the option to view distances in either yards or metres. The handset also vibrates when locked onto a target. It comes with a carry case, lanyard, carry clip, cleaning cloth, replacement battery and 12-month limited warranty and has an RRP of $199.99.

It can be purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, PGA Superstores, TGW.com, golf specialty stores or online at www.shotscope.com.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” said David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope. “Following the successful launch of the PRO L1 in Europe, we are now introducing this innovation in the United States. While this is our first rangefinder product, golfers can expect what they have come to know from Shot Scope over the past number of years. They will get the ultimate in performance and accuracy, at an affordable cost. We are extremely proud of the technology in this rangefinder.”
