Acushnet Europe has underlined its commitment to enhancing customer experience with the creation of a new Customer Insights Analyst position, designed to bring deeper data-driven understanding to its operations.

Chris Handy has been appointed to the newly created role, working within the customer service team to support both the Titleist and FootJoy brands. His appointment reflects a broader strategy to use customer data and feedback to inform decision-making and improve service standards across the business.

Handy, who joined Acushnet in 2024 as a Supply Chain Analyst within Distribution, brings a strong analytical background and an in-depth understanding of the company’s internal processes. His transition into the new role marks a natural progression, combining his technical expertise with a passion for golf and the brands under Acushnet’s umbrella.

Acushnet is the umbrella company for a number of leading golf brands, including Titleist and FootJoy

The introduction of the Customer Insights Analyst role comes as customer expectations continue to rise across the industry. In the short term, the focus will be on gathering consistent feedback and identifying key touchpoints across the customer journey where improvements can be made. These insights will then be used to deliver tangible enhancements to service delivery.

Looking further ahead, Acushnet plans to embed a culture of customer-led decision-making throughout the organisation. Central to this ambition is the development of a robust ‘voice of the customer’ capability, enabling the company to anticipate golfer needs and deliver experiences that align closely with its brand values and heritage.

Alongside data-driven initiatives, Acushnet Europe is also investing in new technologies to improve efficiency and tailor its service offering. At the same time, there is a strong focus on developing staff, with efforts to build a more versatile and knowledgeable team capable of delivering a consistently high level of support.
