Halifax Bradley Hall Golf Club has announced the appointment of Anthony Moore as its new General Manager.

Moore’s arrival marks the beginning of an invigorating chapter for the 118-year-old West Yorkshire club, with a renewed focus on member experience, community engagement, and long-term course development.

With a background rooted in club leadership and golf operations, Moore steps into the role with a clear vision for the future. His early message to members reflects both enthusiasm and intent – a commitment to elevating all facets of the club, while nurturing the welcoming environment that Halifax Bradley Hall is known for.

“It’s a privilege to step into this role and help guide the club into an exciting new chapter,” Moore said. “We have a range of forward-thinking initiatives underway, all focused on enriching the member and guest experience, strengthening our sense of community and inclusivity, and elevating our hospitality, food, and beverage offerings.”

Central to Moore’s plans is a strengthened focus on course quality. Working closely with Halifax Bradley Hall’s established team, including its highly regarded greenkeeping staff, he aims to ensure the 6,134-yard, par-70 moorland/parkland course continues to evolve year after year. A series of planned course enhancements, he added, will support both playability and enjoyment for golfers of all levels.

“Our dedicated team will continue working tirelessly to ensure the course develops and improves year after year,” Moore said. “We’re also introducing a number of new course enhancements that will further elevate play and enjoyment.”

The appointment was made following a recruitment process led by golf-industry specialists Promote People, whose director, Richard Pilbury, praised the club for its forward-looking approach and expressed confidence in Moore’s leadership.

“From our earliest conversations with Halifax Bradley Hall Golf Club, it was clear they were seeking a dynamic leader capable of steering an already well-loved club into its next phase of growth,” said Richard. “Anthony stood out for his strategic mindset and his passion for member engagement. We’re delighted to have supported the club in making such a strong appointment.”
